Questions

Container conversions, answered.

How much does a shipping container conversion cost?

It depends on the size, the fit-out and how much engineering is involved — a basic insulated office runs into the low thousands, while a fully serviced catering or technical unit costs more. Tell us what you need and we’ll give you a clear guide price.

Do I need planning permission for a converted container?

Often a container used as a temporary or ancillary structure falls under permitted development, but it varies by location and use. We advise on what’s likely and can support a planning application where one is needed.

How long does a conversion take?

Simple conversions can be ready in a couple of weeks; bespoke, fully fitted units take longer. We give you a realistic timescale up front and keep you updated through the build.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes. We’re based in Barking, Essex and work throughout London and the South East, with nationwide delivery and craned installation available.
